We took some time off during Christmas to recoup and think of the direction of the company. One of those is to be more eco-friendly in the garment and printing process. While our commitment is a 50% donation of each sale to mental health research, we can change the world in other ways too!
All of our t-shirts have changed to a new supplier. This new supplier provides a softer shirt and makes every shirt out of at least 6 bottles of recycled plastic. So not only do each of you get a softer shirt, but you also are helping to reduce the amount of plastic waste on our planet! Along with a new supplier comes new colors - so check out the new color section for every design! Be The Wondering is now using the most eco-friendly shirt on the market.
Our focal point of 2021 will be a brand .. that happens to donates money to mental health research, opposed to a mental research health brand. The reason to go this route is to not pigeonhole Be The Wondering as a mental health brand that must stay within those parameters and be limited within our marketing efforts. Social media companies currently limit the reach of our posts due to the bots thinking it's a charity by trying to attach a donate to charity button to every post and limiting it's reach. So to avoid that is to go the route of being an awesome clothing brand. We are still completely committed to donating 50% of the profits of every sale to mental health research.
You will also notice a redesign of the shop page. There are now only 6 primary designs - all BTW designs. These designs all have new color ways.
We're moving away from text logos. It was a positive way to begin the company, but now we can offer more complex and appealing designs that incorporate the brand and the overall ethos, which the new BTW Bear design is a perfect example of. The designs will be more image based opposed to text based. This will allow for overall stronger originality and variety. Right now concepts are being drafted and tested as to how the designs will rollout throughout the year, but keep your eyes pealed as many will only be released for a certain amount of time and then never be seen again.
Thank you all for the unwavering support for the past 3.5 years. It's truly been a dream come true. Be The Wondering has grown year after year and I can't wait to see where we go. I love you all!
